TiviMate Setup

This TiviMate setup guide for USA viewers walks you through every screen, from installing the app on a Fire TV Stick or Google TV to watching your first channel. Each step has a screenshot of the real screen, so you always know what to press.

How this USA TiviMate setup guide works

First, keep your TiviMate US welcome message close by, since it holds the server URL, username and password. Then choose your device in the tabs below and follow the numbered steps. The orange outline on each screenshot shows exactly what to select, and you can also tap a screenshot to enlarge it.

TiviMate setup on Fire TV Stick

TiviMate is free in the Amazon Appstore, so you install it straight from the Fire TV search. Then you add the TiviMate US login we send you.

  1. Search for TiviMate

    First, open Find › Search on the Fire TV home screen. Then type tivimate and select the suggestion.

    Not listed in your region? Message us on WhatsApp, and we will send you a Downloader code for TiviMate instead.

  2. Install TiviMate

    Next, open TiviMate IPTV Player by AR Mobile Dev and select Get. The app installs in under a minute.

    TiviMate itself is free. Its optional Premium upgrade is sold by the app developer, not by us.

  3. Start a new playlist

    Open TiviMate. On the welcome screen, select Add playlist.

  4. Choose Xtream Codes

    Next, select Xtream Codes. This login type loads live channels, movies, series and the TV guide together, so you do not need a separate EPG link.

  5. Type the server address

    Then enter the server URL from your TiviMate US welcome message, including http:// and the port number. After that, select Next.

  6. Enter your username and password

    Now type the username et password we sent you, and select Next.

    Logins are case-sensitive, so copy them exactly. Also, check that there is no space at the end.

  7. Let TiviMate load the playlist

    TiviMate then reads the playlist and shows how many channels, movies and shows it found. Finally, select Done.

  8. Open the TV guide

    The TV guide opens with your channels and the programme listings. Select a channel to start watching; in addition, a long press on OK adds it to your favourites.

TiviMate setup on Android TV and Google TV

These steps work on Google TV, Android TV boxes and TVs with Android built in.

  1. Install TiviMate from Google Play

    First, open Google Play, search for TiviMate and select Install. Then select Open.

  2. Start a new playlist

    Open TiviMate. On the welcome screen, select Add playlist.

  3. Choose Xtream Codes

    Next, select Xtream Codes. This login type loads live channels, movies, series and the TV guide together, so you do not need a separate EPG link.

  4. Type the server address

    Then enter the server URL from your TiviMate US welcome message, including http:// and the port number. After that, select Next.

  5. Enter your username and password

    Now type the username et password we sent you, and select Next.

TiviMate US app on Firestick and Android

  1. Search for Downloader

    First, open Find › Search on the Fire TV home screen. Then type downloader and select the suggestion.

  2. Install the Downloader app

    Next, open Downloader by AFTVnews and select Télécharger. The app is free, and it comes from the Amazon Appstore.

  3. Turn on developer mode

    After that, go to Settings › My Fire TV › About. Highlight your device name and press select 7 times, until the message “You are now a developer” appears.

    If it already says you are a developer, then simply go to the next step.

  4. Open Developer Options

    Now press Back once. As a result, Developer Options shows under My Fire TV. Open it and select Install unknown apps.

  5. Allow Downloader to install apps

    Then switch Downloader to ON. This only lets Downloader install the player file, and you can also switch it off again after setup.

  6. Enter the code 1388878

    Next, open Downloader and select the box on the Home tab. Then type 1388878 and select Go, because this code opens the 8K Player VIP+ file.

  7. Install 8K Player VIP+

    After the download, the installer opens. Then select Install.

  8. Add your playlist

    First, select +Add Playlist on the Playlists screen of 8K Player VIP+.

  9. Log in with your TiviMate US details

    Keep the server on 8K PRO and type any playlist name. Then enter the username et password we sent you by WhatsApp or email. Finally, select +ADD PLAYLIST.

    Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive. Also, a space at the end stops the login.

  10. Start watching

    Channels, movies and series then load in a minute or two. Next, open Live, choose a category and select a channel. The programme guide also shows what is on now and next.

iPhone, iPad and Apple TV setup

TiviMate is not available on Apple devices. Instead, you use a free player from the App Store and log in with the same Xtream codes.

  1. Get the free player

    First, open the free player in the App Store, the same link as our Download for iPhone / iPad button. Then tap GET.

  2. Log in with Xtream codes

    Next, open the app and choose Login with Xtream Codes API. Then enter any name, your username, your password and the server URL we sent you. Finally, tap ADD USER.

  3. Open Live TV

    Now tap LIVE TV to watch channels. Movies and Series also hold the on-demand library.

Samsung and LG Smart TV IPTV setup

Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) TVs cannot install Android files. Instead, you use IBO Player Pro from the TV’s own app store, and then we activate it for you.

  1. Samsung: install IBO Player Pro

    First, press Home and open Apps. Then search for IBO Player Pro and select Install.

  2. LG: install IBO Player Pro

    On LG, open the LG Content Store instead. Then search for IBO Player Pro and select Install.

  3. Send us the MAC address and device key

    Next, open the app. It shows a Mac Address and a Device Key, so send a photo of this screen on WhatsApp. After that, we add your playlist to the app.

    IBO Player Pro may ask for its own activation after its trial. However, that fee goes to the app developer, not to us.

  4. Reload and start watching

    Once we confirm, restart the app. Your playlist then loads automatically, so select LIVE TV to begin.

Windows and Mac setup

On a Windows PC you use IPTV Smarters Pro, and on a Mac you use Smarters Player Lite. Both are free, and you log in with the same Xtream codes as on the TV.

  1. Download IPTV Smarters Pro

    First, open IPTV Smarters Pro on Uptodown on your Windows PC. Then select the blue Obtenir la dernière version button, which means “Get the latest version”.

  2. Open the installer

    The download then starts by itself after a few seconds. Once it finishes, select Open file in your browser’s downloads list.

  3. Allow it to run

    If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, select More info first. Then select Run anyway, and IPTV Smarters Pro opens as soon as it has installed.

  4. Log in with Xtream codes

    Next, choose Login with Xtream Codes API. Then type any name, your username, your password and the server URL we sent you. Finally, select ADD USER.

  5. Open Live TV

    After a short load, select LIVE TV to watch channels. In addition, Movies and Series hold the on-demand library.

  6. On a Mac: get Smarters Player Lite

    On a Mac, open the Mac App Store and search for smarters player lite. Then switch the results to iPhone & iPad Apps and select GET.

    This works on Macs with an Apple M1 chip or newer and macOS 12.5 or later. On an older Intel Mac, message us and we will suggest another player.

  7. Log in on the Mac

    Then open Smarters Player Lite, enter the same details and select ADD USER. Finally, choose LIVE to start watching.

MAG box setup

MAG boxes use a portal link, so we tie it to your box’s MAC address first.

  1. Send us your MAC address

    First, find the MAC address under Settings › Device info or on the sticker under the box. Then send it to us on WhatsApp. After that, we link it to your plan and reply with your portal link.

  2. Open the server settings

    Next, press SETUP on the remote and open Servers.

  3. Enter the portal link

    Then open Portals and type any name for Portal 1. After that, paste the portal link we sent into Portal 1 URL. Finally, press OK to save and reboot the box.

When the TiviMate setup does not work

Across the USA, most issues people hit while following this TiviMate setup guide come down to three quick fixes:

  • “Invalid login”Type the details again without copy and paste, because an extra space breaks the login. Also, check that the server address starts with http:// and ends with the port.
  • Empty TV guideIn TiviMate, go to Settings › Playlists and choose Update playlist. Then give it a few minutes to load the listings.
  • Picture freezesRestart your router and streaming device first. After that, try an Ethernet cable or the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band, which carries HD and 4K streams far better than 2.4 GHz.

TiviMate setup questions from US customers

Does this TiviMate setup guide work across the USA?

Yes. The app, the menus and the screenshots are the same in every state, so the steps work anywhere in the USA. Only your internet speed changes the picture quality.

Does TiviMate work on Roku?

No, TiviMate runs on Android-based devices only. On a Roku TV, plug in a Fire TV Stick or a Google TV streamer instead, and then follow the first two tabs.

Is the TiviMate app free?

Yes. The app is free to install, while the optional Premium upgrade is sold by its developer. In addition, our own TiviMate US app is free for TiviMate US customers.

How fast should my internet be?

At least 15 Mbps keeps HD channels smooth, and around 25 Mbps keeps 4K steady. For that reason, a wired connection helps on busy evenings.
